  • I was on the research team, where we investigated if Freedom School(summer reading program) helps students maintain or increase their reading level
  • At the beginning and end of the program, we tested students using the BRI to compare their reading levels
  • I gained valuable experience working data, research methods, and dissemination
  • I helped write an article about the research we collected, that would be sent to a journal
  • Sorted and organized files, spreadsheets, and reports.
  • I had to conduct some tests in Spanish
  • Analyzed problems and worked with teams to develop solutions
