• Actively participated in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing overall perioperative services within the organization, while assisting with the successful implementation of new surgical technologies, contributing to advancements in patient care within the department. I also was responsible for optimizing resource utilization, by carefully managing inventory levels of supplies and medications within the perioperative unit. And most importantly, I demonstrated exceptional time management skills by prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Remained a strong advocate for my patients,through enhancing their safety by diligently following surgical protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation. Assisted in the development of departmental policies and procedures by offering insights based on clinical expertise and experience in perioperative nursing. Provided emotional support to the patient's family by updating them on the patient's status every hour.

Promoted a safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols, fall prevention strategies, and other safety measures,I managed a caseload of 4, patients simultaneously by providing bedside care, treatments, IV therapy, and wound care. I also prevented complications for post-operative patients through careful monitoring, early detection of issues, and prompt intervention when needed, by assessing patient conditions accurately by conducting comprehensive physical assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and utilizing critical thinking skills. I also managed the post operative care of Psychiatric patients until they were healed enough to return to the Psych. unit, as the Psych. unit does not perform wound care. This unit was also an overflow unit for post partum mothers of babies who had to spend time in the NICU,or unfortunately did not survive the birth. Therefore, I was responsible for the post partum checks.

• Prepared operating rooms with required instruments, ensuring efficient setup for various surgical cases while maintaining high infection control standards. This included preparing all the necessary equipment and supplies for the upcoming procedures. Minimized infection risks by strictly adhering to aseptic techniques when handling surgical supplies and equipment.
• Assisted surgeons in complex procedures for optimal patient outcomes and reduced recovery time.
• Handled high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently, contributing to successful completion of critical surgeries, and improved patient outcomes with precise ,handling and passing of surgical instruments during procedures, and, finally, supported smooth transitions between surgeries by promptly preparing the operating room for subsequent cases.
