  • Currently working on C130 cargo ramp structural repairs including investigating all documented discrepancies to evaluate and determine order in which to proceed. Identifying parts and materials required to fabricate repairs and order parts. Following complex Work Instructions, TAR's, OEM drawings and Technical data while working closely with leadership, quality, and engineers to ensure company quality standards are met.

  • Read and interpreted blueprints and electronic work instructions to assemble F-35 wing system components structures and plumbing as a grade level 5 mechanic. June 2019 was promoted to grade level 3 mechanic in final assembly. Responsibilities included but not limited to CEII inspections of main landing gears, all open bays for panel closures, installing testing hydraulics and final inspections of IRCM and MSE doors. Inspections of all prior build ups, including checking all wiring harnesses, fiber optics, for fowling and clearance requirements. Confirming builds are to B/P and Data specifications before presenting to customer (DCMA) for final inspect and sign off.

Accomplished complete 187 Bulkhead removal and rebuild modification following strict guide lines of zero deviation AD document and Service bulletin with 100% Quality ok to installs and buy offs. At completion of this Modification received Award of Excellence and letter of recommendation of authorization for Airframe examination from Quality Assurance Auditor Robert C. Wise. Also contracted at Pemco Tampa, Fl. and returned to Dothan contracting at Pemco location now named Commercial Jet .

Additional Information

I began my aviation career as a contractor at MAE in Mobile, Al. in 1995 ( I had a little help from friends) Performing C and D checks on DC-9 and DC-10 aircraft for Value Jet and Continental Airlines.( lawn darts) Removing corrosion, alodining, and priming. Constantly striving to learn and not mess anything up. Starting from the very bottom and doing every job handed to be from cargo gil liner and blue water stains to doubler and tripler skin repairs to F-35 final assembly inspections. I've become a well rounded versatile mechanic. Professional references, Personal references, OJT's documentations of experience readily available. My hopes is to settle into a vital role contributing to and delivering a quality product. I'm no stranger to travel and would welcome any challenges that may come with this position.
