  • Telemetry (1998 to Present) - Monitored patients heart arrhythmias on Central Telemetry Monitoring System. Provide interpretation and intervention documentation in patient treatment record every 15 minutes intervals and/ or as ordered by provider. Enter patient data information in CPRS system, check providers orders for monitoring. Conducted telemetry monitor measurements of
    patient’s PR intervals, the P’s, Q’s and QT recorded findings in template so that the provider could do further assessment for care. Monitor patient’s syncope, chest
    pains or change in mental status. Access strips twice during shift to post in telemetry monitor daily flow sheet. Nurses and physicians are notified for low and
    high heart rates. All V-Tach, RED and yellow alarms are reported to charge nurse for further evaluation. Performed EKG’s as ordered from providers. Trained and orient
    new employees to the Central Telemetry Monitoring System.
  • Outpatient Clinic (1988) - Provided clinical nursing such as vital signs, dressing change using aseptic techniques, documenting in patient’s chart to include patient’s
    vital signs, pain level, weight and other documentation required. Stocked supply cabinets, ordered supplies from SPD and pharmacy for patient treatment rooms.
    Assisted physicians and other providers on examination to ensure patient safety and privacy were not compromised. Assist with patient transfers to and from wheelchairs, stretchers and exam tables.
