Laura Morales-Rojas

I developed the Latino Outreach program for victims of domestic violence. Through this program I had the honor of working with the victims through counseling, where they could talk to someone they trusted in a safe place, and learn about their legal and emotional options. I ran support groups, such as domestic violence, self-esteem, finances, and healing from trauma. I also had the opportunity to interact with middle and high school youth through presentations and counseling about Teen Dating Violence. Also for a period of time I answered phone calls including the crisis hotline.
