Summary

Laura Segafredo, Ph.D., is the Global Head of Sustainable Research for BlackRock's ETF and Index Investments. A trained energy and climate economist, she is an expert on the net-zero transition and climate-related investment risks and opportunities. She's experienced in the development of sustainable index products, as well as customized investment strategies in both equity and fixed income. Prior to joining BlackRock, she had spent two decades in academia, philanthropy, utilities and think tanks in the U.S. and Europe.
