  • Primary school liaison to the PTSA - helped to facilitate smooth communication, information distribution & dissemination amongst PTSA board, teachers, students, families and principal. Used creative tools such as having drama club present skits on AM broadcast to get the word out.
  • Created first-ever school (non-PTSA) fundraiser — The Pueo Discount Card. Solicited participation from more than 40 local businesses. Businesses would offer a discount on goods or services in exchange for a listing on the card. Cards were sold for $10 by students and we raised over $30k!
  • Conducted all school tours for prospective families. Involved students from our “Aloha Ambassador” club, giving them a leadership opportunity to lead the tours.
  • Single-handedly created the yearbook, including all layout, design, teacher coordination, photo coordination, collection & batching of funds, and distribution.

  • Selected to serve as Acting Chief, Floodplain Management and Insurance Branch, FEMA Region I Mitigation Division, during a long-term absence of the Chief. In that role, managed all personnel, projects and processes efficiently and effectively.
