Job overview

  • My job as a PSR (Patient Support Representative) consisted of many duties, such as;
  • Contacting patients and/or their medical providers, either by phone or by mail, in order to assist them with their enrollment in our Patient Assistance Program (or PAP for short), which aided our patients with affording their life-saving medication
  • Contacting patients and/or their medical providers, either by phone or by mail if I was unable to reach them by phone, to inform them that their Enrollment forms for our PAP program was missing some vital information, and that they needed to send in said missing information as soon as possible to be enrolled.
  • While what I have just described above was my primary duty, I also had other duties, such as ;
  • Taking live calls from patients that would have questions/concerns about how their enrollment into our PAP program was coming along.
  • Taking live calls from patients that needed a refill on their medication and relying upon that information to their primary pharmacist so that they could ship the medication to the patient
  • Contacting a patient's insurance company to verify their benefits

  • (or RA for short), It was my responsibility to maintain order on my floor
