  • Responsible for all aspects of the agency’s learning content management system for the Academic Reporting Curriculum Support department within the Training Operations Division. Played a key role in the agency’s implementation of two LCMS products, with a third program pending. Provide access, support, and training to end-users and agency training staff. Prepare standard processes and procedures for trainers to submit training courses for input using the LCMS. Plan, develop, and support instructor led, web based, e-learning training programs of LCMS, to include assisting with the publishing of new training events. Compile and verify accuracy of information to prepare course data for computer entry. Maintain data integrity rules and processes such as course descriptions and lesson plans. Rely on keen detail for accuracy to review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output. Examine data information, identify inconsistencies, and use various reasoning methods to resolve problems and best outcome. Serve as backup triage contact for end-users, assist with common learner troubleshooting issues such as course enrollment, password resets and training records. Stay current with TCOLE requirements to ensure timeliness and accuracy of reporting classes for commissioned personnel.
  • Additional duties to assist Training Operations Division’s Leadership Professional Development Unit in development, coordination, and implementation of projects, such as organize curricula, course outlines, instructional methods, training aids, manuals, and other materials. Coordinate the planning and execution of classes offered agencywide and act as a liaison to agency divisions and other agencies. Create and conduct surveys, review and monitor program activities to determine compliance with requirements, laws, regulations, policies and procedures and recommend corrective action as needed. Requisition and order merchandise, supplies, and equipment ensuring compliance with DPS and State guidelines and regulations. Track requisitions, audit invoices, maintain related reports and files, and assist with determining operational minimum/maximum inventory levels. Document and review policies, procedures, manuals, standards and plans in accordance with program objectives and goals.
