More so, developing skills that involved cleaning, shutting down bakery, handling food , creating a positive work environment, and making sure everything is done, as well as going above and beyond. During my high school years, I enrolled to be a volunteer at Northside Hospital in Cherokee county during the summer. I was in both the Radiology and labor/delivery departments where I explored both, organizational tasks, transporting patients, enhancing communication skills under difficult times, putting smiles on patients faces, help clean bed linens, watch procedures, etc. This internship inspired me to be more involved with the medical field and to achieve my goals as I plan to be a healthcare worker in the future. Volunteering was a great experience to help acknowledge that this environment can be difficult, challenging, and upsetting. However, it can also rewarding, many learning opportunities, and meaningful. I always look for the positives within the negatives.
