Summary

At VCU, I am an active participant in both the arts community and the academic community. I am enrolled in both the School of the Arts and the Honors College, and I am on track to receive a degree in music as well as a minor in business. At VCU, I have served as principal trombone of both the Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the Symphony Orchestra. I also serve as the treasurer of our chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, an honor band service fraternity that supports our music department, and I have helped raise over $2,000 for our chapter over the past two years. I have also performed three elective solo recitals since I started at VCU, none of which have been a requirement for my degree. I am passionate about performance and I always make sure that I have something that I am working towards.
