- Properly communicate with pet parents about their pets' well-being and the status of the drop-in, walk, or boarding.
- Time out the appointment for the client, as well as the drives to and from the client.
- Work with reactive or over-energetic dogs to be calmer and better-tempered.
- Properly read pets' body language, and act according to what the pet is most comfortable with.
