I was one of the three nominees for Teacher of the Year for Graham A. Barden Elementary School. I was a teacher's assistant for 21 years and bus driver for Graham A. Barden. I have been at this same school all of my career.  I received my Bachelors in May 2021. I am just finishing my 5th year as a teacher. I was nominated by all of my colleagues that I work with everyday. It was an honor to be nominated. I received a certificate and flowers.
