Summary

I'm seeking a district leadership position that has a greater positive impact on student academic achievement and social/emotional well being. I'm passionate about supporting students to be successful in high school and beyond. My goal is to collaborate with educational partners to improve student outcomes by identifying areas of growth, developing district Smarti goals utilizing student data to measure progress. My mission and vision is that all students graduate high school and have a high quality post secondary plan, and are social/emotionally safe and live productive lives.

Assistant Principal/Assistant Head Counselor

I manage the counseling office to ensure daily operations run smoothly to provide counseling support services to our students, parents, and staff. I am the Administrator for the World Language Dept and work collaboratively in their PLC. As the CAASPP Coordinator I ensure we meet the State's minimum participation rates. I also have coordinated our PIQE program successfully for 8 years. I've lead successfully our Counseling Team and we have improved student outcomes in our A-G completion, Financial Aid submission, Graduation and College and Career Readiness rates. Most recently, I took the role of SEL Lead and oversee our school psychologist and social workers. We have developed a MTSS tier support for our students social and emotional well being. Our Counseling/Support Services PLC meet on a weekly basis to ensure all students are being supported academically as well as social and emotionally.
