As a military soldier, I have gained great experience in the office as well as in the field. For example:

• Adapt quickly to schedule changes made to either show up earlier or later than scheduled
• Work long hours (12-15 hours) without getting tiresome/fatigue
• Cover down for others if need be, which again would go back to adapting quickly to schedule changes
• Continues weapons training in both handguns and long guns
• Well trained in combative and defensive tactics
• Work well as a team
• Trained to manage my time properly
• Experience in working as a team leader and being a role model for my peers
• doing inventory of sensitive items and information
• I enjoy high stress environments that test my skills and abilities.

Self employed and self motivated job. This experience has taught me excellent communications skills and has given me the confidence I need to speak openly in crowds or class settings. Furthermore, it has amplified my language skills, kept me calm under pressure, made me more of an active listener, helped me make better decisions and solve problems that arise better. The experience has improved my overall verbal communication skills
