  • Over the last eight years I have not had much work experience due to the fact that I am the spouse of a service member of the United States Army.
  • During these eight years we moved from Louisiana, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana and then finally to Texas.
  • Due to the constant moving and having three small children my husband and I decided that it would be better for me to be a stay at home mom/wife.
  • I have been responsible for maintaining our home, coordinating moves, paying bills, learning to budget our finances, having to make many different adjustments to accommodate my husband's army career, as well as my every growing children's lives.
  • I was also active in The family readiness group also known as FRG where the spouses of the soldiers coordinated events such as trunk or treat, when our spouses would go for field training for several weeks at a time in the FRG we would always make sure to have a gathering for our returning soldiers that often included food, games, and listening to the experiences our soldiers accomplished.
  • I Started also working for Dentaquest/HGS December 13th, 2021 and currently do both homemaker and Customer service representative.

  • I worked at waffle house in Breaux Bridge, Henderson, and Lafayette, Louisiana. I began as a waitress, where I was responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction, keeping a clean working environment, serving several customers at a time, memorizing the menu and prices, writing tickets out where I had to add up all the prices on their tickets and then add the sales tax and gratuity on to go orders, I was also responsible for the register collecting money, and also had to have the ability to count back money as the register did not do the math for us.
  • Some of my other responsibilities included, helping other teammates, washing dishes, keeping the store cleaned, restocking, and busing tables.
  • I was also a grill master, where I prepared several meals sometimes with another cook, but most times I was the only cook during my shifts. If I was the cook during the graveyard shift I was in charge of managing the store if any problems were to occur.
  • My greatest accomplishment at waffle house in my opinion was the ability to cook several orders at once solely based on memory. As a grill master, I was in charge of prepping food for my shift if needed, but mostly for the shift following me, cleaning the grill, cleaning the floors in front of the grill area, and overall staying calm while preparing several meals at once.
