I took some time off to address a medical issue/crisis in order to enhance my ability to effectively meet the needs of my employer. During this time, I evaluated my chosen career path. I am passionate about learning and committed to continual improvement in all areas of my life.

Returned from CA, per family request, to assist in providing 24/7 care for my grandmother during a medical crisis followed by a decline in her functioning level.

Joined the team of an upscale Portland night club to

ensure guest safety and entertainment. Oversaw a space with capacity of 500 people. Responsible for ID checks, personal searches, and adherence to fire safety.

Worked for a security contractor on a variety of jobs, showing great flexibility in scheduling. Oversaw a Nike HQ construction site. Ensured overnight safety at Hi-Lo Hotel as well as adherence to SOP's and responding to customer concerns. Worked 10+ hour shifts.

Ensured safety at an elite Portland night club for smooth operations. Overlooked a 120 person capacity space over two levels. Diffused conflicts proactively and as needed to ensure safety. Facilitated smooth celebrations for VIP guests.
