I've maintained my own private studios most years since 1981. I was a band director from 1999-2007. The other years since 1981, I have taught students in Waco, Huntsville, San Antonio, Utah, Temple, as well as the Greater Austin area.

I have been fortunate enough to teach many All-State, All-Region, and future professional musicians, as well as many future music educators.

I've been fortunate to play with many of the best musicians in the world.

Coached jazz combos consisting of young jazz musicians from the Greater San Antonio area.

I was fortunate enough to play in the Concert Band , as well as the Dimensions in Blue Jazz Ensemble.
