LELE ZHENG

Acton,ACT

Summary

Kia Ora! My name is Lele (Angel) Zheng

I am a Kiwi-Chinese second-year student at the Australian National University, currently studying a Bachelor of Political Science and Music, majoring in piano performance. I enjoy exploring context dependency and qualitative approaches in social science, and believe that small changes can create real and meaningful differences.

This year, I was awarded a scholarship to attend Stanford Summer School and the Intern Group. Alongside my academic studies, I am currently a Wesley Music Scholar in both piano and voice, a choral scholar in the Llewellyn Choir and a piano teacher. I was honoured to receive the Friends of the School of Music Ensemble Prize - First Prize and a General grant this year, and have been offered a place in Australia’s Premier Youth Choir - Gondwana Chorale for 2027.

I am proactive and goal-oriented at adapting to different (new) disciplines. Throughout the years, my leadership skills were conformed by by initiating inspiring perceptions and ideas, and the actions taken to stand up for justice passionately. In working environments, my diverse background and experience have inspired me to continue growing in international and collaborative environments, and I am open to opportunities that allow me to further develop my career and academic pathways.
