RecZone - Assistant Director & Support Staff Fall/Spring 2023
- Coordinate and plan daily program activities.
Track and record participant and staff attendance.
- Review monthly program plans and suggest enhancements for optimal effectiveness.
- Supervise program staff and volunteers to ensure the quality of the program.
- Assist RecZone supervisor with monitoring program budget by maintaining inventory of program material and submitting request orders when needed.
- Establish positive communication with parents to inform them about program activities in both English and Spanish
- Maintain open communication with instructors, school administrators, and parents about participation and behavior during the program.
- Organize and promote activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, games, music, theater, social recreation, and hobbies, considering the needs and interests of individual members.
Food, Fun, and Fitness – Program Director Summer 2022 & 2023
- Coordinate and plan camp activities for rising 1 to 5th-grade campers from the Middlebrook mobile home park.
- Follow camp standards to ensure all campers had proper registration before their camp participation for camp drop-in camp structure.
- Implement the setup and breakdown of the camp structure. Setting up cooling and water stations.
- Oversee check-in and sign-out of camp.
Supervise counselors and TeenWorks staff.
Soccer for Change - Program Support Staff 2019 – Current
- Assist with field setup and breakdown according to Soccer for Change program standards.
- Assist with transportation - shuttle multiple teams between program locations.
- Ensure the safety of the program by establishing and reminding attendees of rules.
- Aid field managers with scorekeeping and overall field management duties including tracking of supplies, ball retrieval, and player and referee check-ins.
Basketball Drop In - Coach Summer 2023
- Assist the Recreation Specialist with planning the structure of the program, consisting of rules, skills assessment, and running drills.
- Instructed program participants with drills to aid participant improvement and understanding of strategies.
- Oversee registration and check-in of players.
- Organize groups based on age and skill level for drop-in tournaments.
- Record program attendance and administrative needs.
MCR Countywide Basketball - Coach Winter 2022 & 2023
- Communicate practice and game schedules to parents and players.
- Provide active feedback to the Recreation Specialist on program needs.
- Established practice plans and implemented them during the season.
