Leonardo Marin

Hi! My name is Leonardo, but please call me Leo for short. I'm the youngest of 4 children, I have two older sisters and an older brother. I have three dogs, two of them being labradors and one of them being a husky.

Spearhead: A school organization intended to create strong student leaders who can help and inspire other students around them.

Spanish Honor Society: The purpose of the Spanish Honor Society is to recognize high achievement of high school students in the Spanish language and to promote a continuing interest in Hispanic studies. The society embraces the Spanish language and Spanish culture.

Mu Alpha Theta (Math National Honor Society): Mu Alpha Theta is dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject.

For my sophomore year, I participated for Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy via Spearhead. Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy is a high school program focused on making an impact through action. As a member of Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy I volunteered to pass out and read books for students at Dugan Elementary School, along with contributing to a community project that donated to the Pediatric Emergency Room at Paulding Hospital

I've also done many volunteer opportunities helping at Dugan Elementary School, a local elementary school right next to South Paulding High School, where I have helped the staff with their PBIS parties, which are celebrations rewarding students' good behavior.

I've also participated in Spartan Holiday, where all of South Paulding's feeder elementary schools come for a day of fun and festivity by playing holiday-season themed games and activities!

Additionally, I've volunteered twice at our school's senior night, an event designed to help parents prepare for their child's graduation, and teach about them about their child's future and how they can support them.
