With over 5 years of Fiber Optics experience, I was presented with an opportunity to get back into the construction side of fiber optics with the PLNG plant in Port Sulphur. Some of my job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for terminating and testing fiber in the entire PLNG site, buildings and tanks
• CAT6 terminations
• Permitting work for the fiber crew of Star Electrical, inputting permits, attending SIMOPS, having the permits verified and authorized.

• Maintenance type of work, filling service orders, and fixing outages.
• Tracking down fiber issues and fixing them.
• Getting fibers routed from the main hub, to the customers location.
• Terminating and testing the route.

• Attended Fiber training to learn how to test and terminate fiber optic cables.
• Installing a fiber network throughout all of the neighborhoods around the New Orleans area.
• Read prints for the layout of the associated cables to be worked.
• Worked with bucket trucks to be able to take down and hang the associated cable to work.
• Worked in underground man holes to terminate fiber cables
• Where we would have to get into a man hole to terminate fiber cables as well.

• Purchased a 26 foot box truck and started my own business, contracted with Amazon
• Picked up bulk freight/pallets from the Amazon warehouse, delivering them to post offices from the states of Florida along the Gulf Coast to Louisiana.

• Upkeep of company property which includes company vehicles, electronics (tablets and phones).
• Maintained a safe work environment.
• Climbed phone poles to acquire service to customers.
• Read the orders to know what had to be performed on each job.
• Installed phone and internet service for homes, apartments, and businesses.
• Connected services from AT&T hubs, to the final destination point.
• Installed aerial and buried wiring to locations.
• Installed phone jacks and modems for internet service.
• Fixed/replaced AT&T plant throughout the area that had been damaged or broken.

• Operated the day to day service of a tool company's rental warehouse.
• Managed a two man work crew.
• Created invoices and rental contracts for customers and vendors that rented tools, or had services rendered to them through the rental warehouse.
• Collected payments via cash, check, or credit cards for services.
• Processed phone calls to work orders and pulled items and equipment for those orders as needed.
• Created purchase orders for purchasing tools, parts, and freight.
• Set up pick-up and deliveries with hot shot companies and freight liners, creating Bill of Ladings

• Calibrated hydraulic equipment (gauges & jacks).
• Fulfilled work orders as they were processed.
• Check in tools as they come back from rentals.
• Fixed minor problems with rental equipment (pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools).
• loaded and unload freight trucks.

• Picked up and delivered tools, parts, and orders with the company vehicle.

• Primary responsibility was to maintain upkeep on boats, forklift, and other equipment.
• From changing fluids on engines, replacing batteries, and cleaning.
• Assisted with placing river pilots on and off vessels as they traveled the river.
• Also Assisted in getting stores and supplies to vessels docked in anchorages.
• Boarding ships to have captains use ship stamps for payment.

• Responsible for loading and unloading freight trucks with material for vessels on the Mississippi River.

• Loading materials for shore to service boats.
• Assisted in lifting items from boat to ship.

• Responsible for getting cable TV and phone services to homes, apartments, and businesses.
• Ran airborne and underground wiring and set up control panels
• We also ran wiring inside of homes, apartments, and businesses.
• I set up control boxes, surround sound, and DVD players for TV systems.
• I also drove company vehicles.
