Summary

My qualifications for teaching are based on 6+ years (2013-2019) of experience in the Airfield Operations Community as the head of the Air Traffic Control (ATC), Airfield Management (AM), and Radar, Airfield, and Weather Systems(RAWS) Training programs. As a three-time Flight Commander, I was responsible for awarding ATC, AM, and Radar, Airfield, and Weather Systems ratings and certifications. I also provided oversight of the. During this period, I was responsible for producing many Federal Airway Administration-certified Air Traffic Controllers and oversaw the Experiencing Difficulty in Training (EDIT) program which provided remedial and corrective training for Air Traffic Controllers.

More recently, I led a team of 11 Contracted Instructors and 2 Company grade officers across seven facilitated and non-facilitated courses, instructing Total Force Airmen in various subject matters including military ethics, organizational leadership, frontline leadership, and flight command.

  • Coordinated the airspace, airfield, ATC matters with 9 Reconnaissance Wing, FAA and local community leadership.
