• All in office MA duties and main assistant to one physician in a busy multi physician owned paractice.

• Community health care Lead Medical Assistant III to a team of six medical assistants. Orients and trains new staff on proper procedures and policies. Assistant to practice medical director.
• Directs patients to exam rooms to prepare for physician examinations.
• Documents HPI, vital signs and health history in EMR for patients in a clinical environment.
• Assists with routine checks and diagnostic testing by collecting and processing specimens.
• Obtains and refills patient medication refill requests via patient refill line and incoming electronic pharmacy requests
• Teach patients about medications, procedures and care plan instructions.
• Completes clinical procedures and gathers patient data for interpretation by physician.
• Tests and records all in office testing including, A1C, HGB, PT/INR, LEAD, HCG, FIT TESTS, DRUG SCREEN, EKG'S.
• Administers adult and pediatric injections and vaccines.
• Supports duties for diagnostic and technical treatment procedures, such as setting up and operating special medical equipment and apparatus.
• Implements care and efficiency improvements to support and enhance office operations with a very diverse patient population in community health care.
