Summary

I’ve had a long professional career working with individuals who cannot advocate for themselves, and this has brought me much fulfillment. I am a first generation Latina who has strived for equity and inclusion in every role that I have served in. In 2024 I graduated a semester early while holding many roles throughout my college career. I gained awards such as the Diskerud-Eller award that was given to me for my advocacy through protests and speeches, my sense of community, and my ability to speak about uncomfortable topics. I have worked with multiple non-profits with one being Strategies for Justice created by Terry Watson where I was a board member. I also held a position as Wisconsins College State Representative for Youth Empowered in the Struggle.
