JAIL MENTAL HEALTH COORDINATOR
This position is responsible for the cross system collaboration of jail personnel as well as all outside mental health providers, law enforcement, psychiatric and medical institutions, DOC, courts and their personnel.
This position is also responsible for identification of inmates who suffer from Mental Disorders as well as Co-Existing Substance Abuse Disorders, Suicidality, and need Psychiatric Medications.
During my 19 years there..I functioned as a case manager, geriatric specialist, psychiatric nurse, out-patient therapist both individual and groups, functioned as a DCR and then was the supervisor for the DCR team, LRA oversight, Regional Support Network oversight supervisor for agency contracts and audits, and the last two years functioned as the Agency Clinical Director.
After a 46 year career I will be retiring from Chelan County Regional Justice Center on August 30th 2024.
I am looking for a part time, two days per week position at Catholic Charities here in Wenatchee. I have worked with Catholic Charities staff for almost 40 years and I know many of the staff personally.
