  • Public Allies LA is a a profit that gave me the opportunity to do community work at Jazz Hands for Autism. Here I have the position as a student support where I dedicate my in helping our students and building relationships to help them though their academic goals.
  • Being able to work autistic youth/adults has been an experience that has helped me build Leadership skills as well as webbing able to perform individual work.. I've learned to build my skills like doing analytical research and being able to build a portfolio for this position.
  • This position allowed me to make sure our student ok accountability and responsibility with showing up to class, making sure they are on time and communicate ahead of a time if they will be absent.
  • Ultimately I have brought to Jazz hands support for our students while also offering a safe space for our students to talk to me and seek out help when needed. I also let parents know that I am not just here for them but also to the parents in case they needs help. In the beginning of my start here we had a high amount of student absences whereas now students have learned to communicate either with me or their instructors. Now we have way less absences compare to a two years ago.

  • Being with this organization helped me gained more insight and have developed passions and better communication skills.
  • Public Allies is an organization where we learn and give to our communities in LA. I have been with Public Allies for three years now. Within these three years I've been placed in two locations to help my community. During my first year I was placed at a local Middle school to help my community in 2021 and then I transitioned to another placement called Jazz Hands for Autism in 2022

  • I got placed at Christine O'Donovan Middle school through Public Allies Los Angeles. Being able to work at this middle school has been a good experience that allowed me to interact with youths, families, and help the school culture of the campus.
  • I came in with the title of being a school culture Legison. This position allowed me to get the opportunity to help with making activities for students, PowerPoints, and facilitate conversations between students.
  • I get to work with teachers, other staff, students and their families.
  • Collaborated with local schools to incorporate cultural education into curriculums, fostering a more inclusive learning environment.
  • Provided translation services for non-English speaking community members, facilitating clear communication between parties involved during meetings or events.

  • At Ralphs I first started off as a courtesy clerk. A clerk is in charge of bagging customers bags, provide excellent customer service, make sure customers get help if they needed help finding grocery/products -pushed carts outside
  • A few months in I was granted the opportunity to be promoted to work in a new department that we opened in 2020. This department was known as Clicklist, This position required me to shop for customers, process payments, and take groceries to customers' vehicles.
  • Utilized strong multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks, ensuring timely completion of each assignment.
  • Interacted with customers by phone, email, or in-person to provide information.
  • Our goal was to provide good customer service, shop fresh products for our customers and to serve the human spirit.
