  • Cleaned and maintained a monthly production report that gets sent to the environmental protection agency on a regular basis. There were 0 open issues with the EPA during this period. This report also assisted the department in identifying brine well production issues before they completely halted production.
  • Regularly sampled and reviewed brine chemistry with an excel workbook and made adjustments in the process to decrease internal customer complaints downstream by 12%.
  • Created a daily report that forecasted salt levels in silos several days into the future which led to a decrease in salt waste by 5% each year. This was achieved by communicating concerns to other departments before the department ran out of salt or made too much for the 300-ton silo storage.
  • Led multiple CAPEX projects ranging from $20M to $2.5MM that had strict federal guidelines that threatened to stop production if not completed on time.
  • Lead engineer for site continuous improvement efforts. This was accomplished by implementing 5S, value stream mapping, and utilizing 6 sigma tools. Cost reduction was measured vs 2017 EBITDA with a goal of saving $2.5MM by 2021. The project had reached $1.8MM in savings before being promoted.
