I was responsible for creating employee schedules and oversee both carestaff and Med techs. I created resident care plans, scheduled resident outside provider and physician visits. Gave facility tours to potential clients. Processing orders and outside agency visit forms we most of my main duties.
All duties of a med tech; Communication with outside providers, PCPs and family. Scheduling all patient appointments inside facility and out. MAR creation,input and updates. Transcribing all new orders. Admistering meds per MAR, injections and cbg checks. Providing wound care and topical treatments. Providing patient care, monitoring and documentation.
To monitor patients, document review of shift and report to RN on duty. Assist with transportation of patients to meals and daily activities. Assist in any necessary code green restraints and defuse behavioral situations to descalated further aggressive behaviors.
