Summary

Manage all EIT critical Facilities Infrastructure on the Disney–ABC Campus in New York and Leased Facility in New Jersey. Manage all performing design, construction, installation, preventive maintenance, or service (emergency or otherwise) to any of the following infrastructures supporting the Data Center(s)
UPS, Batteries, Switchgear, Generators, Generator Controls, PDUs, RDCs, CRAC units, Condensers, Chilled Water Plant, Pumps, and Cooling towers.
Provide thorough and professional communication, notification, and escalation of all planned and unplanned maintenance activities and emergencies or problems that may contribute to a possible outage.
Responsible for Data Center cabinet layout and orientation, including rack population, redundancy, and diversity of power and cooling serving each cabinet.
Manage Physical Access Control in support of EIT's documented protocols.
Manage Budgets related to the New York facilities, requiring thoughtful planning and input, regular review and forecasting, and proper management of unexpected capital and expense investments.
Provide backup to the Director of Critical Facilities Infrastructure and plan and execute all requirements.
As a leader of this organization, interact with all EIT and ABC management levels during budget reviews, change requests, project updates, problem notifications, emergency services communications, educational sessions, tours, capital investment descriptions, etc. the local trusted EIT leader across the Disney–ABC Business Unit.   • Periodically review access listings to ensure all individuals with badge access are appropriate.
  • Proactively seek areas for growth or expansion, look for operational inefficiencies, and serve as technical liaison in support of Disney Business Units.
  • Maintained vendor relationships, monitored SLAs and vendor performance, and created Statements of Work with approved vendors to support upcoming projects and initiatives.
  • Initiated and led facility policy, process, and procedure documentation to create a runbook for maintenance and incident handling for essential facility layers.
