Empathy and understanding are necessities in the industry that often get overlooked, but are very vital to a role that in any capacity deals with customer service, including the mortgage industry. As a Loan Officer Assistant, my role consists of frequent monitoring and review of loan applications, ensuring a timely closing that is satisfactory to the member in every way. My role is very broad as it consist of supporting our Loan Officers throughout the beginning of the loan process and requires stellar communication between both the members, and loan officers to promise a swift and smooth process. I am entrusted with maintaining a pipeline of up to 50 loans that must be diligently worked daily, requiring excellent time management skills to meet all the deadlines and properly prioritize. Lastly the Loan Officer Assistant is expected to have a keen eye and be able to identify any issues that may inhibit qualifications and find solutions to remedy those obstacles.
As a wealth management associate at Charles Schwab/TD Ameritrade my duty to accurately and efficiently update and promote client accounts is vital to the process of starting as well as maintaining quality relationships with our customers. I have been trained in the new accounts department as a wealth a management associate and this role is very important to customers as well as the company. My job is helpful to the initial relationship with the client as often times this will be their first experience with opening an account of such high value and importance and in such a competitive market for retirement/stock/trust accounts and etc. it is vital to ensure the beginning process goes smoothly. To do so properly, my job includes fulfilling our clients needs through our various computer programs and making sure it is all done in a timely manner. Teamwork is important in this job environment as we work as a team to cut away at the large workload and quantities of tasks that stand in our way. I am trained to be proficient in data entry as much of my job requires a keen eye and constant reviewing of documents as well as inputting data to our systems. As a wealth management associate trained in new accounts it is my duty to ensure customer satisfaction through diligence, expeditious work flow and an eye for detail as it is crucial to handle clients accounts with care, not leisure.
As a Loan Processor at Aimloan customer service and time efficiency is the most important part of my job. It is vital to assist the client with all the questions they may have and help them through every step of the process. I was hired as a loan processor during a booming time in the industry and had to pick up on things quickly. I learned even more of the importance of customer service during such impactful times in a clients life. On top of enhancing skills, I learned many new useful abilities at aimloan. Some of these include using computer programs such as Excel (for income calculation worksheets and other organizational worksheets), and using systems like Encompass and the Fannie and Freddie underwriting systems. It was also necessary to communicate with the title companies, Insurance companies and other 3rd party companies in order to obtain documentation and information needed to complete the process. All this to say, I am open to and enjoy learning new abilities and enhancing upon my knowledge in general.
As a Service and Engagement Lead there are many responsibilities which mainly consist of helping the front end of the store run properly. I learned to delegate tasks to help the store run smoothly and help employees stay productive.
I also learned how to correctly manage time in order to keep the flow of the store remain consistent. Another task I learned was how to efficiently handle and transfer large quantities of money. In my role it is vital to have excellent service to both the guests and team members and ensure satisfaction. Lastly, the front end is reliant on the Service and Engagement Lead and it is important to stay calm in chaotic climates and sufficiently lead the front end by positively influencing the team and making sure there is cooperation and understanding of the expectations.
