Levi Heis

In this role I have a number of responsibilities, number one being safety of person and property as I am a first responder to gas leak/ odor calls. Responsibilities also include, changing gas meters, correcting AOCs in the field, performing pre job briefs, working alone in the field in a safe and efficient manor.

In this role I worked doing contracted work for DTE energy, I had to follow DTE fusing procedures, work safely and efficiently to put gas services and mains in the ground. also in this role i worked with a crew.

Ran equipment such as excavator, skidster, and backhoe as needed by foreman.

• Trained new employees to learn new systems, apply best practices and comply with protocols and regulations.
• Maintained a safe working environment through adherence to safety protocols and regular site inspections.
• Ensured timely completion of projects with effective time management and prioritization of tasks.
• Climbed trees safely using properly inspected climb gear to remove or trim trees off of power line right-of-ways to be in compliance with state law.

• Safely loaded and unloaded trucks using appropriate forklift attachments, reducing the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Kept warehouse clean and organized by removing debris and returning unused pallets to designated areas.
• Improved warehouse efficiency by skillfully operating forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials.
• Delivered parts to an assembly line in a timely and safely manor to keep the line moving at proper speed.

• Installed sewer and water lines to new contruction homes.
• Ran equipment such as a Excavator and skidster.
• Help another pipefitter in the completion of the job.
• Keep truck stocked with proper parts and supplies to get job done effieciently.
