During my time in this job, I worked for 11 hours a week, while actively taking on a 16-unit semester at Mira Costa College. I received only as much as one ten minute break, during my longest shift of 5 hours.
I received this job after being recommended by my Differential Equations professor.
I have had the pleasure of working as a Math and Sciences tutor for the Mira Costa Community College STEM Center. More specifically, I work with students to improve both their study skills and their expertise in the areas of Calculus, General Chemistry, and Physics. I love working with teams and frequently correspond with my colleagues, determining who is best suited to aid each student while actively building each others' skill sets through brainstorming and group learning. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide array of customers and have experienced the challenges that differing views and potential obstinance can bring, and I appreciate the character building that it has brought upon me.
I use tutoring as an opportunity to help me review and refine my skills in the elementary Mathematics and Sciences that are pertinent to my major, as an aspiring Aerospace Engineer. I also use this opportunity to help others, as the STEM center is a crucial aspect of many students' education, fostering an environment of group learning and academic excellence.

This job was unofficial and acquired through my Father; however, I believe it is pertinent to my resume, as it expresses a wide skill set.
During two weeks of the summer before my Freshman year of highschool, I worked as an unloader for my father's small business, Commercial Sign Installation. During this job, I passengered a large moving truck that relocated supplies from a warehouse to various locations across LA, which were then stored in small storage units, this job allowed me practice in physical labor, as well as taught me many of the basics of safety precautions that must be taken in a loading zone. This job also provided me with resilience to hot working conidiations, as the weather was quite warm during June in LA.
