Summary
I am looking for the position of Sax section leader because over the years I’ve seen others stand up to help our section unite and prosper even in stress filled environments. I believe I can create a focused and supportive environment for everyone already in band and those coming into a completely new experience. As an upcoming senior I want to fill in that leader role our section will need so I can support them to the best of my ability and share my experiences so they may one day want to be leaders themselves. My goal is to lead by example through strong preparation, detailed fundamentals, and commitment to improving both individually and as a united section. I understand a leadership role requires extensive work and patience throughout the year, but I am willing to take on this role through commitment so everyone feels valued and motivated to succeed. Ultimately, I look forward to a successful and memorable year filled with dedication, pride and excellence to hopefully one day inspire our future Aztecs.
