Caring for a breast cancer patient for 15 months was a very special experience in my life. I witnessed my employer's pain and struggle . I took are of her, accompanied her to the hospital for checkups and chemotherapy, participated in her recovery program, and gave her emotional support. Being there for her and listening to her made her feel that she was not alone. As a Caregiver, as a CNA, we are dealing with people who need help at some point in their lives. They may not be as independent as they once were due to illness, old age, or physical infirmity, but they still crave dignity. Our dedication to them ,gives them hope and the feeling that they are still loved and valued!
For me, taking good care of them with nursing skills, dispelling their loneliness with companionship and listening, and giving them more warmth and light in their journey of life is the greatest meaning of this job.
