From the moment I was old enough to work I joined the work force starting as a christmas tree farmer for a long time friend's family business. I would spend about 4 to 6 hours shearing trees about 4 days a week, and around december I would assist in tree sales. later that year the new Market basket was opening in town and would pay better so I left the tree farm on good terms and applied immediately for a front end job at Market Basket. I was a bagger and cashier for a majority of my time at Market Basket, nut towards the end was promoted to front end assistant manager. in this position I ran the front end in the absence of a manager. this included acting as a supervisor for the cashiers baggers and cart pushers. I also handled customer questions and complaints either in person or on the phone. Towards the end of my time at Market Basket the job was causing serious mental health strain and I had to leave. A few months later I was hired at the local Hannaford as a cashier. this was a pay raise for me and much less stress. when I turned 18 offered the position of service leader (same role as assistant manager at Market Basket) but I turned it down because I did not want to deal with the stress, and at the time it was only a 50 cent raise for way more responsibility. they continued to offer it to me any chance they could but I refused to tak the roll. I left Hannaford because I would be leaving for a trade school in vermont. Unfortunately due to mental health issues I had to drop out quite early. My entire life I have been an artist and always wanted to pursue it and have been encouraged by many others to do so including many art teachers from both elementary school and high school. I hope to eventually make a career out of it.
I've been an artist my entire life mostly encouraged by fellow artists in the family and art teachers. I do acrylic and oil paintings graphite drawings and digital paintings using photoshop.
