I discovered my passion for hospitality at a very young age and always knew it was the industry where I would thrive. As soon as I graduated high school, I took a gap year to find an opportunity to immerse myself in the world of hospitality and landed a position at the 5-star Le Meridien hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. During my six months there, I tried to gain as much experience as I possibly could. I began in the back office, managing calls and entering data while learning on the Property Management System, and as soon as i got a hang of the software I requested a move to the front office. There, I learned how to check guests in and out and learned all the essential front office operations. After that, I convinced my manager to move me to the night shift. where I delved into night-run procedures on the PMS system and the protocols unique to nighttime hotel operations. Just as I was ready to expand my hotel knowledge even more, I was offered a full-ride scholarship to study finance at the University of Minnesota through the Ministry of Education. I accepted the scholarship and moved to the Great Twin Cities area, but my passion for hospitality has gotten to its all-time high, as I got eager to reconnect and prove myself in this awesome industry.
