Mayo Clinic Hematology Oncology Unit Council:

  • Devised ideas that can better patient education, patient experience, staff morale, efficiency and improvement to processes, identify common barriers experienced by staff and implement creative solutions.
  • Spearheaded the idea of a 4 day, 10-hour work week for medical and clinical assistants within the office. Our group found and presented relevant research data to leadership staff to support the idea. This workflow was piloted and eventually implemented full-time in November 2022.

Mayo Clinic Emergency Department Volunteer, October 2022 - January 2023
