I am a current first-year college student at Bates College, with extensive knowledge of outdoor living skills. I have considerable experience working with and teaching children, as well as leading large groups through wilderness settings. I attended a semester program, a month-long wilderness course, and volunteered for multiple years at an environmental center to expand my knowledge of the outdoors and sustainable living. I am a good listener, adaptive, patient, and always willing to learn something new.
I worked with educators to organize and design educational lessons and backpacking trips. Toward the end of my position, I led a week-long educational program without the assistance of an educator.
I led camp activities and assisted in coaching horseback riding lessons for kids ages four to twelve. I worked as a ranch hand when needed and helped organize the camp schedule.
I assisted the leading educators in educational lessons, and accompanied groups on camping trips as a volunteer educator.
I worked on inventory within the store and prepped the store for customers.
