Wilderness Camp Experience

I have been wilderness camping since age 7. Beginning at age 11, I have done progressively longer and more challenging trips through YMCA Camp Menogyn. In 2023, I participated in a 21-day canoe trip to the Quetico Provincial Park in Canada, and will be doing a 33-day trip to Northern Canada in 2024. Through these experiences, I have learned adaptability, resilience, teamwork, and the importance of maintaining a positive attitude even during challenging or unpleasant situations.
