- Worked under college professor, Tyler Zarubin, as assistant in his Ph.D research studying plant ecology and effects of watering concentrations on variables such as arthropod diversity and plant biomass.
- Collaborated with this professor and several other students in both; outdoor field and indoor laboratory setting to sample leaves from different plant species, collect samples of arthropod communities from various locations in research gardens, and used dissection scope to sift plant material and separate out arthropods for identification and biodiversity surveys.
