I have been playing the violin since I was seven going on eight and I am eighteen currently as 11/27/2023, so I have been playing the violin for ten years now. During my third year of playing the violin, it was suggested to me for the first time to join or at least look into joining the Houston Youth Symphony. It was suggested to me for a second time during my sixth year of playing when I was fourteen. I have been an avid reader since I was a really young child and I got into writing when I was twelve and even wanted to write a book of poetry somewhere along the way. It's currently not on my mind to write poetry or to have anything published but I still enjoy to at least make something out of my thoughts which is one reason I feel drawn to major in, specifically, clinical psychology. And I have also been playing the guitar for close to four years now and I have used my skills as a violinist to help myself out as a guitarist.
