I have always worked in the healthcare setting. I had taken a change in career paths and worked as a vet assistant after I had my first child. I then decided to return to school to obtain my phlebotomy certification as that is what I thought I wanted to do. I then had my second child and have since taken some time off. This time has allowed me to reflect and see that I truly want to be in the veterinary field therefore I am seeking a vet assistant position as I begin to start courses to obtain my Vet technician Degree.
