Officer of the year 2012, 2017, 2024

My first year which was 2012, the chief wanted us to write a people about why we want to become a police officer. I reflected on my teenage years and how I used to watch a lot of cop shows on TV.  I wrote about choosing the profession, because I couldn't imagine doing  anything else. I came to the conclusion it was about the  badge and the uniform. helping people wasn't a priority at the time.  But once I joined  law enforcement  I realized helping others was the true purpose of this job.

In 2017 and 2024 I was chosen by the community and that's when it truly hit me- I must be ding something right. The community recognized my value  and saw my worth.
