Leadership/Volunteer

Board of Education Representative - (Grades: 11 and 12) Created "Student Feedback Survey" found through QR codes around the school. I attend every board meeting with a student report on events and experiences as a voice for my peers. Observe daily the concerns or positive opinions students have, to be highlighted. Present in front of eleven district representatives and spectators.
Creator of WIGU (When I Grow Up)- (Grade: 10 to Present) Passion project to help students find internships to see if a career is right for them. I interview the student and then contact local businesses for them. Found at wigu.live.
Montgomery Food Pantry Volunteer - (Jan 2022 - Present) Volunteer weekly (50 hours). Replenish stocks, load and unload food items. Take orders and make necessary decisions on how to substitute low stock for other filling options. Help package and distribute hundreds of meals to local families.
Freshmen Orientation Leader - (Grades: 11 and 12) In charge of incoming freshmen, being a mentor/guide to them throughout their first year.
Economics for Leaders- Attended last summer in Boston, at Tufts University. Exposed to economics by a Clemson University professor and learned valuable leadership skills.
Wallkill River School Volunteer- Volunteered 10 hours helping organize the Art School and prepare for events.
