Greet customers with a welcoming attitude, answer questions, direct customers, ring up customers, get food ready for take out, seat guests, clean, I am also responsible to bring my own cash bank, cash customers out and count back change, ensure large bills are not fake. I use the point of sale computer system.

As a hostess I must figure out where to seat different groups in a timely and efficient manner while keeping customers happy. We are a very busy restaurant and this is a difficult task.
