
-Perform regionally across the US. Competed in competitions at Busch Stadium, Bitterjester Music Festival, and local venues. Released three albums. Written over 20+ songs such as American Suburbs, Cool Down, and Make Believe. Helped with communication between vendors when negotiating gigs. Sold and marketed albums, posters, and t-shirts when possible.
- Focused on classic rock with piano for over six years learning parts such as Highway Star and Burn by Deep Purple. Classically trained for two years and through the present, learning Chopin, Mozart, Bach, Clementi, Rachmaninoff, etc. Played drums for over seven years with a focus on rock and shuffles like the Purdie and Rosanna shuffle. Recently I've focused on Afro/Cuban beats like the Rumba Clave, Son Clave, Nanigo, and Bossa Nova.
-Music company that teaches students a variety of songs to learn which then are played at different venues around the St. Louis area. Stayed with SOR for eight years and had the opportunity to sing and play bass, guitar, keys, and drums on different songs. Volunteered in SORs Rock 101 program for young children and helped them to learn music basics. Keyboardist for audition-only 'Houseband'. Houseband learns difficult songs to challenge the students and promote growth in their abilities. They also load in and out of venues at SOR events. Lastly, Houseband sets an example for the younger students from their leadership qualities and musical capabilities.
- Acted in The Wolves, Puffs, Shakespeare Abridged, The Drowsy Chaperone, and four one-acts. Helped recruit incoming freshmen into the theater community. Learned a multitude of dances, impersonations, and different character acting for shows. Learned different methods of directing, including directing a one-act.
-Lead exercises to improve improv skills. Rehearse for the regional 2024 state improv competition. Perform shows for students and faculty at Ladue. Routinely practice creating an imaginary world with different settings, broad characters, big movements, etc. Teach others confidence by fully embracing creativity and the openness of improv.
-Volunteer at activities provided by the National Honor Society. This includes tutoring students at Ladue, and helping with parent-teacher conferences, ceremonies, and events in the St.Louis area.
-Volunteer with organizations in and around Ladue such as the local firehouses, police stations, diaper banks, and food banks. Organize events with the mayor to increase community engagement. The council and I have organized coat drives, food drives, Earth Day events, community movie nights, and creek clean-ups.
-Opportunity to volunteer at School of Rock through Rock 101. Volunteer with NHS, Ladue Youth Council, and Agrela Ecosystems.
-Teach young underprivileged children piano once a week. Learn the basics of piano through simple sight reading, scales, and chords.
