For almost 22 years my husband and I owned and operated Daylight Donuts of Dacono.
As an owner/operator, ALL departments and issues were ours to lead and navigate. We ran our shop profitably and received several awards from the local Chamber of Commerce.
Being an entrepreneur, you learn to find solutions. The daily contact with the public has given me the skills to handle various situations with people and children.
We participated in and held many community events, which takes organizational skills. These community events helped us earn several awards.
As the owner, I trained employees how to do their job, understanding that each person learns differently.
The combination of my education and business leadership has given me the skills that can apply to teaching and leading young students.
