  • Processed and completed A files on each detainee by interviewing and asking for their biographical personal information, why they are seeking asylum here in the U.S., asked for their point of contact of the sponsor’s name, physical address and phone number on the E-3 applications system.
  • Fingerprint recognition/identification and photos of each adult and juvenile over 14 years of age for criminal background records checks.
  • Assisted with the Office of Refugee Resettlement scheduling juveniles who were leaving our facility to emergency shelters.
  • Worked in the PODS where the detainees were being held until their release making sure each detainee was accounted for, I printed the roll call sheet every hour to make sure I had the correct total amount of juveniles in each POD.
  • Assisted in the property room scanning all incoming and outgoing personal property bags to make sure each detainee received their correct property when they left our facility.
