
Skilled in areas of management and inventory control as well as vast experience working in food service and retail working with people as a whole but truly enjoy working here at the hospital with the vets, it gives me a sense of giving back to those who have served.
I currently work in both the cafe and store sides of the canteen as needed. My responsibilities include making the STG for both coolers, working on the serving line, assisting with cooking duties and prep, checking out guests in both the cafe and store. I also assist with food order and stocking both retail and cafe supplies/food. I check in incoming product for merchandising in the store and assist with price changes and reset of the POGs.
While employed there I was in charge of the Lifestyles Dept which included video, video games/systems and accessories and all collectible items. My responsibilities included stocking and merchandising various products, assisting with inventories, product ordering, scheduling employees and guest service. I was proficient in all departments in the store and often managed the checkout as well including counting tills and completing daily and monthly reports.
I worked in the laundry assisting with sorting, washing, drying, folding and delivering items. Ran flat irons and pressers as well as washer and dryers.
My duties at the store included receiving/returning product, inventories, inventory control, ordering of products and supplies, prep for holiday shipments, scheduling associates, loss prevention and internet order fulfillment. While working at the store I worked in all of the other departments including books, video, music, lifetyles and customer service area.
Throughout my life I have had a variety of work experiences including management of both retail and restaurants, I was once a certified assistant manager for Golden Corral, I have managed convenience stores worked at a motel as cleaning staff and I even worked at a cheese processing plant in Atwood KS Most of my work experience is in guest service of some sort
